Always verify you are inviting the bot from our official links. The bot is `Pandez Guard Beta#6532` and is verified. If you find any visual issues like this one, please enable the `Use External Emojis` permission for the `@everyone` role in the verify and waiting-room channels. ![](/files/eCrhZlbpTuwQ7edSeZVz) {% endhint %} ### Automatic setup Pandez Guard features an automatic setup process when joining a new server, in which it will perform the following actions: * Create a new verification channel where the verification panel will be posted * Create a waiting room channel where verified members will reside while the server is locked * Create a new Verified role * Create a new Waiting Room role {% hint style="danger" %} The new Verified and Waiting Room roles will be created with the same permissions as your default @everyone role. Make sure those permissions are set correctly or change them on the new roles created by the bot as you wish. {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} All bot commands can be used by anyone with `Administrator` permissions by default. {% endhint %} ### Changing the verified role If you would like to use another verified role instead of the one created by the bot, you can use the command `/config verified roles` followed by the verified role(s) you would like to use. You can set up to five rules. Input one rule per text box. ![](/files/ulGMXDytfrR39qwztMSC) ### Adding admin roles {% hint style="danger" %} Admin roles get full unrestricted access to the bot's commands. {% endhint %} If you would like to give permission to other roles to use the bot's admin commands, you can use the command `/config admin roles` followed by the role(s) you would like to give bot admin permissions to. ![](/files/CRGErXGCoeoDQZnNIUFI) You can change this at any time by using the command `/config admin roles reset`. ![](/files/qoeUQb5prCI89dHxCo4o) ### Pruning unverified members If you would like to automatically prune members who fail to verify after joining the server, you can use the command `/config prune`. {% hint style="warning" %} When adding bots to your server, they can't complete the captcha. If you have pruning of unverified members enabled, bots that are not verified by Discord will be kicked. \ To keep an unverified bot in your server, you have to give it the verified role in your server. {% endhint %} ### Changing the captcha method There are three captcha methods you can use with Pandez Guard: number captcha w/ numberpad, text captcha and image captcha. You can change between them using the `/config captcha` command, followed by the method you want to use. ### Adding and removing verification steps By default, Pandez Guard adds the "DM Warning" and "Rules Agreement" steps into the verification flow. You can remove them by using the `/customize` command, then clicking on "Verification Steps", then "Remove". You can then select the step you would like to remove. To add them back you can follow the same steps, but instead of "Remove", click on "Add". 🌟 You **customize** and **add your own** verification steps with premium! (beta)* * Disable new DMs from being sent between members in your server. This feature extends Discord's native "Pause DMs" feature, which has a time limit of 24 hours. With our command, DMs are paused in your server indefinitely. Friends can still DM each other, moderators can still DM members and your Apps can still DM members. * Arguments: * `Enable` - Enables DM disabler. * `Disable` - Disables DM disabler. * Pandez Guard requires the "Manage Servers" permission for this feature to work. * **`/audit logs`** * View and filter your server's audit logs with the following optional arguments: * `executor` - Filter by the user that performed the action * `target` - Filter by the user, channel or role that an action was performed on * `action` - Filter by the type of action that was performed * `duration` - Filter by when the action was performed (e.g. `2d` will show the logs for the last 2 days) * The free version of the bot only lets you see up to 5 audit logs. Use the `/cleanse` command to ban existing members in the server that violate the filter list. This only has to be done after adding new filters to the filter list. Everything else is automated after that. #### Other commands Use the `/scan` command, followed by a regex expression or keyword to scan for any members that match the criteria. This is useful to test out filters before actually adding them to the filter list. Use the `/scannonenglish` command to scan for all members with non-English characters in their names. This is useful to find any members that are trying to bypass the filter list by using special characters. #### Setting up roles 1. Use the `/config optional roles` command. 2. Click on the `Roles` button. 3. Click on `Add Role` and select a role from the dropdown menu. Roles with dangerous permissions, the verified role and the waiting room role, won't show up in the dropdown menu. 4. Select a category from the dropdown menu that best matches the role. This step will only appear if you have added at least one category. 5. Add a description for your role or leave blank for no description, and click on `Submit`. #### Setting up categories 1. Use the `/config optional roles` command. 2. Click on the `Categories` button. 3. Click on `Add Category`. 4. Click on `Single Choice` if you want members to only be able to select one role from this category. Click on `Multiple Choice` if you want members to be able to select multiple roles from this category. 5. Add a name for the category, and click on `Submit`. #### Setting up the optional roles panel in a channel 1. Use the `/config optional roles` command. 2. Click on the `Channel` button. 3. Select a channel from the dropdown menu. Only channels the bot has access to will show up. This account should never interact with any links, accept friend requests, DMs, etc. It should ideally be only used in a separate device that you only have for this purpose. Having a separate server owner Discord account stands a far lesser risk of being compromised. ### Role order Pandez Shield manages permissions for all your staff roles. Pandez Shield must be the highest role in your role settings to work properly and to prevent any permission issues later on. ### Setting up 2FA Before being able to use any commands with Pandez Shield, you must setup 2FA on your account. Use the `/2fa` command and follow the on-screen instructions. {% hint style="warning" %} This will be a different 2FA code than your Discord account one. Pandez Shield will never ask you for your Discord account's 2FA code, only the one you setup using the bot. {% endhint %} ### Setting up role permissions {% hint style="info" %} This action can only be performed by the server owner or a bot master {% endhint %} Use the `/settings` command and click on the "Role Permissions" button to configure permissions for each of your roles. 1. Click on the role you would like to configure from the dropdown menu. 2. Click on the permission you would like to configure from the dropdown menu. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can remove any Discord role permissions/channel overrides after setting up the permissions on the bot (e.g. Remove the "Mention @everyone permission" from the roles/channels that have them, and only use the `/mention` command through the bot.)
Example #### Giving a role permission to post announcements *This permission is called "Mention" since it allows the role to mention @everyone, @here and any other roles in the server, but it also let's the role type in the channel after authentication.* **Before we start:** * [x] Make sure the announcements channel is read-only for everyone, even the role that will be posting announcements in it. * [x] Make sure the role doesn't have the "Mention @everyone, @here..." permission in the role permission settings. **Setup:** 1. Use the `/settings` command 2. Click on "Role Permissions" 3. Click on the role you want to give this permission to from the dropdown menu 4. Click on the permission you would like to configure from the dropdown menu, in this case, "Mention" 5. Click on "Update Permission" 6. Select the channels the role will be able to post announcements in 7. Click on "Continue" Now members with that role will be able to use the `/mention` command to authenticate themselves through 2FA, and gain access to post announcements in specific channels.
{% hint style="info" %} For premium users: By default, the link filter (automod) is turned on. You can allow roles to post links in `/settings`. To add permits for channels and bots, see [#setting-up-permits](#setting-up-permits "mention") {% endhint %} ### Changing the security level {% hint style="info" %} This action can only be performed by the server owner or a bot master {% endhint %} Use the `/settings` command, click on the "Security" button and then the "Security Level" button. There are 4 security level options: * `Low (24h)` * `Medium (12h)` * `High (1h)` * `Extreme (Always)` Changing the security level changes how often a user will be asked to authenticate themselves when running commands. e.g. Changing the security level to `High (1h)`, means that users will not be asked to enter their 2FA code again within the hour after authenticating. {% hint style="warning" %} For the best protection, we advise keeping this setting to the default level: Extreme (Always). {% endhint %} ### Setting up log channels Log channels can be configured for specific Pandez Shield actions. For now, the only logs sent by Pandez Shield to a specific channel, are logs for the deleted links by the link filtering module. When a link is sent by an unauthorized member, the link will be deleted and logged into a channel of your choice. Use the `/settings` command, click on "Log Channels" and follow the instructions. ### Setting up permits Use the `/settings` command, click on "Permits" and then the type of permit you would like to set up. Follow the instructions sent by the bot.
Example **Add a link filter bypass** **For channels:** To allow links to be sent to a channel, use the `/settings` command, click on "Permits" and then "Link Filter Bypass". Select the "Channels" option and then "Set Permit". Select a channel mode, a link mode and you're done! **For bots:** To allow links to be sent by bots, use the `/settings` command, click on "Permits" and then "Link Filter Bypass". Select the "Bots" option and then "Set Permit". Select a channel mode, a link mode and you're done!

What roles can access the `/file` command? Access to this command should only be given to the most trusted members of your team (preferably only admins). Interactive giveaway creation: * What channel do you want to run the giveaway in? * How long should the giveaway last? * How many winners should there be? * What is the prize of the giveaway? Extra Options: * Allowed Users/Roles: Only the users/roles mentioned will be able to win the giveaway * Blacklisted Users/Roles: The users/roles mentioned won't be able to win the giveaway * Wallet Requirement: Whether or not members must have a wallet address set to enter the giveaway * Role Percentages: Give a higher/lower percentage chance of winning to members with a specific role * Roles on Winning: Set a role to be given automatically to all winners of the giveaway * Max Entries: Set a maximum number of server entries for the giveaway (i.e. once that number of entries is reached, members won't be able to join the giveaway.) * Minimum/Maximum Winners Per Role: Set a maximum/minimum number of winners per role (e.g. `@Gold 2,4` means that there should be at least 2 winners with the @Gold role, and at most 4 winners with the @Gold role) * `/view` * `/view state: active`, `/view state: ended`, `/view state: cancelled` Allows giveaway managers to select and view active, cancelled and already ended giveaways from a dropdown menu. After selecting a giveaway, a panel with a summary of the giveaway will show up, with a "Get file" button to easily export the list of winners (and wallets, if the wallet requirement was enabled for the giveaway). * `/cancel` Allows giveaway managers to select and cancel an active giveaway from a dropdown menu. Therefore, the Owner reserves the right to take any appropriate measure to protect its legitimate interests including denying Users access to this bot, terminating contracts, reporting any misconduct performed through this bot to the competent authorities – such as judicial or administrative authorities - whenever Users are suspected to be in violation of any laws, regulations, third-party rights and/or these Terms, including, but not limited to, by engaging in any of the following activities: **Conduct restrictions** * pretending to fulfill any possible condition or requirements for accessing this bot, such as for instance being adult according to law or qualifying as a Consumer; * concealing their identity or stealing someone else's identity or pretend to be or represent a third-party, if not allowed to do so by such third-party; * manipulating identifiers to disguise or otherwise conceal the origin of their messages or of the content posted; * defaming, abusing, harassing, using threatening practices, threatening or violating the legal rights of others in any other way; * promoting activity that may endanger the User’s life or the life of any other User or lead to physical harm. This includes but is not limited to suicide threats or instigations, intentional physical trauma, the use of illegal drugs, or excessive drinking. Under no circumstance is any User allowed to post any content promoting and/or encouraging and/or showing any self-destructive or violent behavior; * probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of this bot, including the services or any network connected to the bot, nor breaching the security or authentication measures on this bot, including the services or any network connected to this bot; * installing, embedding, uploading or otherwise incorporating any malware into or via this bot; * using this bot or the technical infrastructure in an abusive, excessive or otherwise inappropriate way (for example: for spamming purposes); * attempting to disrupt or tamper with the technical infrastructure in a manner that harms or places an undue burden on this bot; * pretending to purchase any Products offered via this bot without any real intent to do so; * failing to pay for Products purchased; **Excessive use of the Service** * using a resource of this bot excessively in relation to other Users of this bot – in such cases, the Owner, at its sole discretion, additionally reserves the right to suspend the User’s account or limit the related activity until the User reduces the excessive consumption; **Excessive use of the API** * sending abusive or excessively frequent requests to the Service via the API. The Owner will determine what constitutes abuse or excessive usage of the API and additionally reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend access to the API by the User. In such cases, the Owner will make a reasonable attempt to alert the User prior to suspension; **Scraping** * adopting any automated process to extract, harvest or scrape information, data and/or content from this bot and all the digital properties thereto related unless where explicitly allowed to do so by the Owner; **Content restrictions** * disseminating or publishing content that is unlawful, obscene, illegitimate, libelous or inappropriate; * publishing any content that promotes, either directly or indirectly, hate, racism, discrimination, pornography, violence; * disseminating or publishing any content that is false or may create unjustified alarm; * using this bot to publish, disseminate or otherwise provide content protected by intellectual property laws, including but not limited to patent, trademark or copyright law, unlawfully and without the legitimate right-holder’s consent; * using this bot to publish, disseminate or otherwise make available any other content which infringes on any third-party rights, including but not limited to state, military, trade or professional secrets and personal data; * publishing any content or carrying out any activity that disrupts, interrupts, harms, or otherwise violates the integrity of this bot or another User's experience or devices. Such activities include: spamming, distributing unauthorized advertisements, phishing, defrauding others, spreading malware or viruses etc.; **User protection** * misappropriating any account in use by another User; * harvesting or collecting any personally identifying information of other Users including but not limited to their email addresses or contact information, by circumventing the privacy setting of other Users’ accounts on this bot or by any other means; * using any information relating to other Users, including personal or contact data, for purposes other than those this bot is intended for; ### **Disclaimer of Warranties** This bot is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Use of the Service is at Users’ own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner expressly disclaims all conditions, representations, and warranties — whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by user from owner or through the Service will create any warranty not expressly stated herein. Without limiting the foregoing, the Owner, its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, officers, directors, agents, co-branders, partners, suppliers and employees do not warrant that the content is accurate, reliable or correct; that the Service will meet Users’ requirements; that the Service will be available at any particular time or location, uninterrupted or secure; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. Any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Service is downloaded at users own risk and users shall be solely responsible for any damage to Users’ computer system or mobile device or loss of data that results from such download or Users’ use of the Service. For lifetime access users: Lifetime access to our bots refers to the lifetime of Pandez Labs and its subsidiaries. Federal law, some states, and other jurisdictions, do not allow the exclusion and limitations of certain implied warranties. The above exclusions may not apply to Users. This Agreement gives Users specific legal rights, and Users may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The disclaimers and exclusions under this agreement shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. All sales are final and non refundable. ### Limitations of liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Owner, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders, partners, suppliers and employees be liable for * any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Service; and * any damage, loss or injury resulting from hacking, tampering or other unauthorized access or use of the Service or User account or the information contained therein; * any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; * personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from User access to or use of the Service; * any unauthorized access to or use of the Owner’s secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein; * any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; * any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service; * any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service; and/or * the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any User or third party. In no event shall the Owner, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders, partners, suppliers and employees be liable for any claims, proceedings, liabilities, obligations, damages, losses or costs in an amount exceeding the amount paid by User to the Owner hereunder in the preceding 12 months, or the period of duration of this agreement between the Owner and User, whichever is shorter. This limitation of liability section shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if company has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to User. The terms give User specific legal rights, and User may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under the terms shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. ### Common provisions #### No Waiver The Owner’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any such right or provision. No waiver shall be considered a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. #### Service interruption To ensure the best possible service level, the Owner reserves the right to interrupt the Service for maintenance, system updates or any other changes, informing the Users appropriately. Within the limits of law, the Owner may also decide to suspend or terminate the Service altogether. If the Service is terminated, the Owner will cooperate with Users to enable them to withdraw Personal Data or information in accordance with applicable law. Additionally, the Service might not be available due to reasons outside the Owner’s reasonable control, such as “force majeure” (eg. labor actions, infrastructural breakdowns or blackouts etc). #### Service reselling Users may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of this bot and of its Service without the Owner’s express prior written permission, granted either directly or through a legitimate reselling programme. #### Intellectual property rights Without prejudice to any more specific provision of these Terms, any intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights and design rights related to this bot are the exclusive property of the Owner or its licensors and are subject to the protection granted by applicable laws or international treaties relating to intellectual property. All trademarks — nominal or figurative — and all other marks, trade names, service marks, word marks, illustrations, images, or logos appearing in connection with this bot are, and remain, the exclusive property of the Owner or its licensors and are subject to the protection granted by applicable laws or international treaties related to intellectual property. #### Changes to these Terms The Owner reserves the right to amend or otherwise modify these Terms at any time. In such cases, the Owner will appropriately inform the User of these changes. Such changes will only affect the relationship with the User for the future. The continued use of the Service will signify the User’s acceptance of the revised Terms. If Users do not wish to be bound by the changes, they must stop using the Service. Failure to accept the revised Terms, may entitle either party to terminate the Agreement. The applicable previous version will govern the relationship prior to the User's acceptance. The User can obtain any previous version from the Owner. If required by applicable law, the Owner will specify the date by which the modified Terms will enter into force. #### Contacts All communications relating to the use of this bot must be sent using the support Discord server here: # Privacy Policy Applies to all bots developed by Pandez and Pandez Labs. Personal Data processed: * Registration and authentication By registering or authenticating, Users allow this bot to identify them and give them access to dedicated services. Data registered and processed by the bot is only data that Users explicitly give us. * Usernames By registering, Users allow this bot to identify them and give them access to dedicated services. Username data is only registered when data is explicitly given to us by Users. #### Methods of processing The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. #### Retention time Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Therefore: * Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed. * Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority. Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period. #### The purposes of processing The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Service, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests (or those of its Users or third parties), detect any malicious or fraudulent activity. #### The rights of Users * **Withdraw their consent at any time.** Users have the right to withdraw consent where they have previously given their consent to the processing of their Personal Data. * **Access their Data.** Users have the right to learn if Data is being processed by the Owner, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the Data undergoing processing. * **Verify and seek rectification.** Users have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected. * **Have their Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed.** Users have the right to obtain the erasure of their Data from the Owner.
